WHAT IS IT?
Entrepreneurial Environmental Education is a 24-months Cooperation Partnership in the field of Youth that involves four organisations from different European countries (Italy, Lithuania, Norway and Spain). The main aim of the project is to strengthen environmental awareness and promote sustainability in the activities developed by young people in order to build a fairer, healthier and more environmentally friendly society.
The main objectives of the project are:
‑To improve the key competences of participants and youth workers for carrying out actions that contribute to promote environmental education and sustainability;
‑To develop higher quality activities and/or projects with young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, in the fields of social entrepreneurship and environmental education;
‑To create new educational tools to strengthen sustainability and environmental awareness in young people who want to carry out their own initiatives, activities and/or projects;
‑To exchange experiences, good practices and methodologies between organisations and professionals from four European countries, on environmental education, sustainability and entrepreneurship in the youth field;
‑To create an international network of organisations, active in the youth field, working to promote environmental education and sustainability applied to youth entrepreneurship, in order to promote cooperation and innovation among Programme Countries.
Duration of the project: 15/01/2022 – 14/01/2024 [24 months]
The main activities are:
‑Transnational Coordination Meeting in Spain to specify strategies, working methodologies and details of activities;
-Phase I: analysis of the situation in each country, identification of stakeholders and selection of good practices;
‑Transnational Coordination Meeting in Norway to present the results of Phase I, exchange good practices and deliver a comparative analysis of the situation;
-Phase II: meetings in each country and diagnosis of learning needs;
‑Two Study Visits: one in Spain and one in Lithuania;
-Phase III: evaluation with participants on the impact of the study visits, meetings in each country, creation of the Guide, workshops at local level and creation of the videos;
-Phase IV: creation of the recap video and eBook of the project;
-Multiplier Events in each country to present the Guide, the videos and other project results;
‑Final Evaluation Meeting of the project in Italy.
-Phase V: final versions of the project eBook and video and dissemination of project results.
This project will have an impact on the participants (new competences acquired and/or improved, personal and professional development, etc.), on the organisations (use of the new competences and tools, exchange of good practices, creation of new products, better quality and efficiency of work, etc.), and on society in general (new tools to face the challenges of today’s society, increased awareness of the importance of sustainability and the active role of each person, increased knowledge about environmental education, etc.).
